Latest News Update On 28 August 2022: Dassault, the maker of Rafale fighter aircraft, will soon have a center at IIT ISM Dhanbad. It is being said to set up this center under CSR. There is a possibility that it will come down to the ground in the coming time. On the other hand, the Innovation Center of Coal India is also going to be built in the campus. The students of Dassault Center and Coal India Innovation Center will be greatly benefited. Dassault also offered an internship to a student of IIT Dhanbad.
Let us inform that in the past, a Mine Automation Learning Center was built under CSR on behalf of Sandvik. It will come fully into existence in three phases. Emphasis is being laid by IIT Dhanbad to impart maximum practical knowledge to the students and to connect them with the industry. Now the whole focus is on innovation. It has also been decided to rename the Institute's CRE Building as Institute Innovation Hub. Soon the process will be completed.
SSP took class at IIT SSP Sanjeev Kumar took class of students of IIT's social entrepreneurship course. Social Entrepreneurship has been started as a new course in IITs. District officials and public representatives will be invited for guest lecturers every week. Students are sent for field visits every week to get information about the problems of the village and surrounding areas.
