Latest News Update On 13 September 2022: The 15-member team India was announced for the T20 World Cup on Monday. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Harshal Patel have made a comeback after recovering from injuries. The T20 World Cup will start in Australia from 16 October 2022. India will play its 1st match against Pakistan on 23 October.
Bumrah suffered a back injury while Harshal had a hamstring strain. Both have recovered from the injury. Avesh Khan did not find a place. Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammed Shami, Deepak Chahar and Shreyas will be on 'standby'.
