In the first phase, supercomputers have been installed in ten premium institutions of the country. In Phase II, on the initiative of the Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Information Technology, the responsibility of implementing this mission has been given to CDAC, Pune and Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. A few months ago, it was installed at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore on the most powerful supercomputer ever, Param Praveg. The speed of this supercomputer will be 3.3 petaflops. One petaflop per second is equal to operating a return multiplied by 15 of 10.

It is capable of performing innumerable calculations in the blink of an eye. Experts say that most of the chip to be used in this supercomputer is imported from Taiwan, but its imports have been affected a lot for the last few months. Along with this, its demand has also increased a lot during the Corona period. Due to this there is a huge gap between demand and supply.
