Breaking News: 62 new buses will run between many cities of Bihar
Latest News Update On 2 November 2022: 62 buses will operate from one city to another within the state. 38 buses will be run from Bihar to different cities of Jharkhand. Bihar State Road Transport Corporation has decided to operate these buses under Public Private Partnership (PPP). For this, applications have been sought from interested agencies by 30 November.
According to the departmental officials, the vacancies have surfaced for various cities within Bihar and between the state to Jharkhand. In order to provide accessible transport service to the passengers, the corporation has decided to run buses on these vacant routes. Under this, 11 from Patna to Sitamarhi, four from Laheriasarai to Patna, eight from Nawada to Biharsharif, five from Madhubani to Patna, four from Patna to Nawada, two from Patna to Purnia, two from Patna to Nirmali. Two buses will be run from Patna to Darbhanga and two from Patna to Pali. Whereas Bela to Patna, Belav to Patna, Kubri to Patna, Kaukol to Munger, Chenari to Patna, Samastipur to Patna, Purnia to Begusarai, Ghoghardiha to Patna, Sahar to Patna, Supaul to Patna, Parsauni to Patna, Patna to Sasaram, Jhanjharpur One bus each will be run between Patna. On the other hand, two buses will be run from Purnia to Rupauli, Kishanganj to Tedhagach, Patna to Areraj and Muzaffarpur to Deoria.
The buses plying between different cities of Bihar to Jharkhand are four from Gaya to Tata, four from Gaya to Bokaro, two from Gaya to Ranchi, two from Gaya to Deoghar, two from Gaya to Dhanbad, Hazaribagh to Gaya. Two for Pali, two from Ranchi, two from Nawada to Ranchi, four from Patna to Ranchi, four from Patna to Tata, two from Patna to Deoghar, two from Patna to Dumka, from Patna to Hazaribagh Two buses will be run from Bihar Sharif to Bokaro and two from Patna to Daltonganj.

In this way, applications have been sought from agencies to run buses on 27 routes between different cities of Bihar and 15 routes between different cities of Jharkhand from Bihar. Agencies will be selected as per rules. Buses are expected to start operating before 23 March.
