Latest News Updated 04 December 2022: The bike-borne miscreants ran away after snatching the bag of a woman going by auto near Hirapur Hatia turn. In an attempt to save the bag, the woman fell down from the auto, breaking her left hand. The victim woman has complained about the incident which took place at around 2 pm on Saturday in the police station. There were 45 thousand rupees in cash in the purse.
Janki Devi, a resident of Saraidhela Kochakulhi and convenor of Middle School Coal Washery Saraidhela, had reached the Bank of India located in the Mixed Building campus to withdraw money for the mid-day meal of the school. She was returning to her school in an auto. As soon as the speed of the auto slowed down near the DGMS office in Hatia Mod, two boys came riding on the bike and snatched Janki's purse from the hands of Janaki sitting behind the bike and ran towards the police line.

Janaki was holding the purse tightly. When the criminal jumped, his grip became loose and the purse was left out of his hand. Due to the scuffle, Janaki fell down from the auto after becoming unbalanced. The local people helped him. Police and Janaki's auto driver husband were informed about the matter. The police has started investigating the matter. Here, the woman was treated at SNMMCH. X-ray confirmed fracture of arm.
