Blackmailing three students suspended in Bidholi Dehradun latest news update 2022
Latest News Updated 03 December 2022: Three students have been suspended from UPES for blackmailing a young man by making an obscene video at Stanza Living Hostel in Bidholi, Premnagar. The Premnagar police had registered a case against all 3 blackmailers. However, all three have not yet been caught by the police.

UPES Registrar Manish Madan said that 3 students have been suspended as soon as the matter came to the notice. The disciplinary committee of the university has also began an inquiry against them. After the investigation report, next step can be taken for their removal. There is zero tolerance for such events in the university, the culprits will not be spared under any conditions. He told that the university is also completely cooperating in the police investigation. Police have registered a case against Akarsh Gupta (BBA 1st year) which is resident of Patna, Bihar, Jeremy Malik (BBA 2nd year) resident of Kolkata, West Bengal & Samanjay Antony (BBA 2nd year) in this case.
