Latest News Update On 15 September 2022: CM Yogi Adityanath said that health facilities are being increased in the state. For the betterment of public health, the government is going to provide health ATM facility at all 4600 primary and community health centers in the state in the next three months. All health ATMs will be connected to the tele-consultancy network. The doctor will be able to see its report online.

Yogi was addressing after inaugurating Gorakhpur's first health ATM at Primary Health Center Chargaon on Wednesday evening. He said that Health ATMs would play a crucial role in strengthening health facilities in rural areas. After installation of health ATMs at health centers, even a person of the village will be able to get more than 50 tests done in five minutes at the same place without any rush, that too free of cost. He said that the government intends to establish health ATMs in all health centers in three months. Apart from general tests like weight, pulse rate, in health ATM, important tests like cardiac, blood sugar, urine, dengue, malaria, hepatitis, pregnancy test, typhoid will also be done.

The CM said that complaints were often received from rural areas that specialist doctors were not available at PHC-CHCs. Health ATMs associated with teleconsultancy will solve this issue. All CHCs-PHCs are being equipped with Wi-Fi to connect Health ATMs with Tele-consultancy network.

Millions of people are benefiting from Arogya Mela

The Chief Minister said that what the BJP government is doing regarding health can be seen in the Chief Minister's Arogya Melas being organized every Sunday. In these Arogya Melas, 2.5 to 4 lakh people are achieving benefited from the facility of free check-up, consultation & medicine. The fair has helped in strengthening the health facilities in the rural areas. If health facilities are strengthened, maternal & child mortality will also be low.

Free dialysis

The Chief Minister said that the government is providing free dialysis facility in all district hospitals. This facility has been made available in about Sixty Four (64) districts. It will be made available in the remaining districts shortly.
