The treatment of the woman was started on Thursday evening by being admitted to the emergency ICU of the hospital.
Medical superintendent of the institute, Dr. Manish Mandal said that the female patient of Muzaffarpur, who is around 40, has been admitted to the emergency ICU. The patient was in a semi-conscious state at the time of admission. Whether the kidney has been removed or not, it will be examined on Friday. The team of doctors is monitoring under the leadership of Dr. Manish Mandal.
Dr. Manish Mandal told that the operation of the patient's uterus was done by a private hospital in Muzaffarpur. After the operation, the urination stopped. Ultrasound of the patient was done in SKM. Ultrasound revealed the absence of both kidneys. However, it will still be investigated in IGIMS. Every effort will be made to provide the best treatment to the patient.
Health Department got to know Sunita's condition from DM
Muzaffarpur. Civil Surgeon Dr. Umesh Chandra Sharma informed that the information about Sunita's referral to IGIMS has also been given to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Health Department. CS said that Sunita has been given an assistance of three lakh rupees from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, apart from this her Ayushman card has also been made.
