Latest News Update On 04 September 2022: The ruckus over the incident of killing a class 12 student by sprinkling petrol has not stopped yet that another girl has been subjected to vandalism. In Dumka itself, a 14-year-old tribal girl was raped and murdered and her body was hung from a tree. Police has arrested the accused youth Armaan Ansari.
The body of a teenager was found hanging from a tree on Friday morning in Dighi area of Dumka Mufassil police station. On Saturday, the family members identified the body at the Phool-Jhano Medical College Hospital.

It was revealed from the statement of the relatives that the girl was raped. The accused in this case was identified as Armaan Ansari. Police have registered a case and arrested Armaan. It is said that Armaan is a mason and the girl used to work as a laborer.
Meanwhile, the two came in contact. On the other hand, Santal DIG said that after speedy investigation of this case, order has been given to file a chargesheet in a week.
