Goraul Vaishali Bihar: Explosion during welding in empty tanker, 3 killed in latest news update 2022
Latest Updated 24/11/2022: An empty tanker of Bharat Petroleum suddenly exploded at 1130 am on Wednesday while welding at Godhiyan Chowk in Goraul police station area. The driver, sub-driver and welder of the tanker died on the spot in the accident. Another person is seriously injured.
The deceased include welding shopkeeper Vakil Sahni, a resident of Belwar village in the police station area, Ranjit Yadav of Chowki Huradi village of Nalanda and driver Arjun Kumar of Siwan. Kaushal Kumar, a resident of Islampur village of injured Goraul, has been referred to Sadar Hospital. Eyewitnesses told that at 1130 hours, the driver and the helper arrived with an empty tanker of Bharat Petroleum for welding. All three climbed on top of the tanker for welding and started the work.
The welding work was still going on when the tanker exploded. The driver, the helper and the welder fell at a distance of about 20-30 feet. Two bodies were mutilated due to falling down after colliding with the wall. At the same time, the remains of the tanker fell about 40-50 feet away on NH-22.
