Latest News Updated 24 November 2022: The Income Tax Department team on Wednesday raided the residence of Superintendent Engineer Anil Kumar Singh, posted in Hazaribagh, at Ashok Nagar, Ranchi. During this one million cash has been recovered from the house. According to sources, the raid was conducted after information about a large amount of cash at the engineer's residence.

Sources said that the team got hold of many important documents. Due to which a large amount of tax evasion is suspected. After this the Income Tax has banned the operation of the bank account of the engineer. Presently the team was ascertaining the sources of income of the engineer.

Ranchi was bringing cash in the car According to the information, on Tuesday, Anil Kumar Singh was coming to Ranchi in his car from Hazaribagh with ten lakh rupees. This was reported to the police station, after which the police caught him with the money & informed the Income Tax Department. On Tuesday evening itself, the Income Tax (IT) Department raided the hideout of Anil Kumar Singh & intensified the raids. In the raid, apart from ten lakh rupees from his car, about ten lakh rupees were also recovered from the house.
