UP PGI Hospital Lucknow: 65 doctors will be available in the next month

Latest News Updated 16 November 2022: PGI, which is facing shortage of doctors, will get 65 new doctors in December. The process of recruitment of doctors pending for many years under backlock has started. Their interviews have started in the institute from Monday.

There has been a shortage of doctors due to many PGI doctors leaving the institute and going to private hospitals and many retiring. Dates are being given after three months for showing patients in OPD and for operation.

PGI Director Dr. RK Dhiman said that till 26 interviews will be conducted for the recruitment of doctors.

These departments will get doctors

Departments of Endocrinology, Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery (CVTS), Ophthalmology, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Transfusion Medicine, Nuclear Medicine, Neuro Surgery, Nephrology, Plastic Surgery and Burn, Pathology etc. are included.
