Breaking News: Approval for opening 268 Ayush Health and Wellness Centers in Bihar 

Latest News Update 13 November 2022: The National AYUSH Mission of the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has approved the opening of 268 AYUSH Health and Wellness Centers under Ayushman Bharat in Bihar. Anshul Aggarwal, Executive Director of State AYUSH Committee, has informed all the District Indigenous Medical Officers in this regard by writing a letter. Shri Agrawal has instructed them that in coordination with the District Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of the District Health Committee, after registering the NIN number of the identified Ayush Health and Wellness Center in his district, the information should be given to the Headquarters within three days.

According to the information, the National AYUSH Mission has set up a total of 108 (46 AYUSH dispensaries and 63 health sub-centres) in the year 2020-21 and a total of 160 (38 dispensaries and 122 health sub-centres) for the year 2022-23. approval has been received.
