Komal Kumari, daughter of Tunna Yadav, a resident of Rikabganj, had gone to take a bath in the Ganges along with another lady nearby with three children of the house. Komal was accompanied by her son Yuvraj, daughter Srishti and nephew Rudra. While bathing here, Komal along with the children also started drowning in the strong current. Neighbors somehow saved Komal and her daughter Srishti, but five-year-old Yuvraj Kumar and four-year-old Rudra Kumar were swept away by the torrent. As soon as the incident came to light, the Malsalami police reached the spot and the NDRF team was informed about the incident. The NDRF team, which reached the banks of the Ganges, took out both the children after a lot of effort, but by then both had died. Event in the family chaos.
