Latest News Update On 18 September 2022: Survey work started on disturbances in the timer of signal lights installed at 133 intersections of Lucknow.
In the first phase, five major intersections including Sikanderbagh and Polytechnic have been identified. Where the timers of the signals will be changed keeping in mind the traffic load of the vehicles. So that the occupants of the vehicle do not have to stand at the red light unnecessarily.
Due to this, there will be relief to a great extent from the problem of jam when there is green light after red at the intersection.
In the identified intersections, Sikander Bagh intersection of Hazratganj, Indira Gandhi Pratishthan of Gomtinagar, DSO intersection near Civil Hospital, crooked culvert on Kursi Road and signal timer at Polytechnic intersection will be changed. At the same time, the traffic load coming from Nishatganj to Sikanderbagh is more. Here the timer will be changed first.
Monitoring through eTMS
The cameras of ITMS of Smart City located at Lalbagh are being monitored at the marked intersections. For this, ADCP Traffic Ajay Kumar has entrusted the responsibility of monitoring to Pankaj and Ajay Patel.
